This promises to be a very exciting event as there will be much debate among the Florida SOE's about Lester Sola's Miami Dade Report recommending the replacement of DREs with Optical Scan Machines, and the hacking test of Leon County's Diebold AccuVote Optical Scan system by BBV with the cooperation of SOE Ion Sancho.

On Tuesday, June 7th and Wednesday, June 8th the doors will open at 7:30 am until 5 pm, and the conference will be open to the public.

All you need to do is Register and get a Name Tag. You will be able to attend the SOE conference and listen to information and debate on the latest impact of Florida Election Law, the Miami Dade announcement, and more. It will be free but it will be priceless.

One of the most exciting events will be starting Tuesday June 7th, in the exhibition hall by the Grand Pavillion, where vendors from all the voting machine companies will be demonstrating their wares. The vendors will be exhibiting their voting systems Tues. June 7, 7:30 AM to 5 PM and Wed. June 8, 2005 7:30 AM to 5 PM.

Eat with the Florida Supervisor of Elections.
Meals will be served on Tues. and Wed.
Tues., Breakfast $15, Lunch $24, Dinner $54
Wed., Breakfast $16, Lunch $27, Grand Dinner $51
10% late reservation fee will be added to all meal prices.
See the full agenda.

The event is FREE!

This event is not advertised to the public.

This is an event not to be missed! All of us agree there must be vvpbs on all voting machines, but many of us are fuzzy as to which voting system to recommend to the public and our elected officials. If you can attend the event and review the voting machines please contact me and perhaps you can write a review for our newsgroup and share with the voting activists in Florida and around the country.

If you are able to attend from South Florida perhaps we can share a ride for Tuesday, as Wednesday I am going to Washington for Lobby Days and want to be back home Tuesday night.

Sincerely,
Ellen H. Brodsky
