North Carolina Chooses Paper ... and More
Congratulations North Carolinans for Verified Voting

The hard work of Joyce McCloy and many others in North Carolina has paid off. SB 223 has passed out of the legislature with overwhelming approval and is ready to be signed by the Governor.

This legislation will protect North Carolina elections by requiring:

-A voter verified paper ballot that will be used in any recounts or audits.

North Carolina Chooses Paper
-Review of source code of computerized voting machines for flaws or malfeasance.

-Random mandatory hand-to-eye audit of the paper ballot.

-Code of Ethics for election officials.

See NCVoter for more.

Democracy is not something you believe in
or a place to hang your hat,
but it's something you do.
You participate.
If you stop doing it, democracy crumbles.
