'Daily Voting News' For February 20, 2008
Today New Jersey media reported that some Sequoia Advantage voting machines used in that state’s primary election on February 5 were not accurately reporting vote totals. The totals found in the memory were not the same as the totals reported on the internal paper-record. According to the media this was found in at least 5 counties. Sequoia tried to pass this off as an anomaly but one official would not accept this minimization of the problem as she corrected Sequoia “"Initially, when I called Sequoia they said it was an anomaly. And I said, 'Excuse me. It's not. It's an error,'" she said.
