Delay was winning the Sharp County election most of the evening Tuesday. No, not Gunner Delay, the GOP candidate for state attorney general. The “delay” that was winning was an actual delay, defined by Webster’s II New Collegiate Dictionary as “to cause to be detained (detain is defined as ‘to keep from proceeding’).”
